Are you ready to return home? Ready to return to the loving Father that you ran away from when you were hurt, head strong and led by rebellion?
Life has been pretty hard lately hasn’t it, and none of us really no where the world and it’s systems are going, 2020 seems to have shifted everything! For many it’s been a year of stress and challenges and uncertainty like never before.
So, again, is it time to return home to the one who loves you unconditionally? The one who has been waiting with arms wide open for you to return home all this time? The one who will elevate your status to a beloved son or daughter?
That’s the promise of God’s love when we return to him. To be loved even deeper than any one on earth has ever loved us.
In trying to find love, acceptance, success or even escapism from the pain, you may have looked to money, work, relationships, drugs or alcohol. All these types of things don’t fix the aching void in each one of us.
Deep down we all want to be loved and accepted for who we are, we don’t want to keep on pretending. It’s the cry of the human heart to be known and loved. So come back to the loving arms of your heavenly Father today, the very God who made you in your mothers womb all those years ago.
The one who sent his son Jesus to earth from heaven to live a sinless life and then be put to death upon that cross, to take our place and pay the price for our sin and our rebellion that separated us from God.
This Jesus did it all for you so that you could be in perfect relationship again with God, all we need to do is accept his trade – give him your sin and unbelief and accept his forgiveness and love.
Since Jesus’ resurrection over 2,000 years ago in Israel – ordinary people filled with God’s Spirit have been changed by this new life that Jesus gives. And have been sharing the love of God throughout the centuries in every country in the world – now God is calling you!
So give up your unbelief, your sin and the weight of life you’ve been carrying, give those things to him, the one who understands and cares and the one who’s arms are still and always will be wide open!
