…to escape with God

Yesterday on a wet bank holiday my wife and I went for a drive to Clevedon parked up and I couldn’t resist a nice wet prayer walk. Combining beauty nature and intimacy with God. Perfect.

And it was perfect I hadn’t been out in the morning so I knew I needed to get my coat on now (though I find walking in rain idyllic)

There is something powerful in going out for a walk every day. Even if it is only for 5mins round the block – the time isn’t the key thing it is the habit your building – that’s why I knew I had to take every opportunity!

And what an opportunity to talk to the creator of this beautiful rugged landscape and the creator of me! Fresh perspective was given on that 15 min walk. And when I got home I had inspiration and direction for my children, that I would never of had with out that prayer walk.

It never fails – talking to God, outdoors, for me is the best daily habit / opportunity ever!
