1 Michael Jackson – Black or White
Tip of the hat to the 80s born then.
First album I was aware of in the home on cassette
Enjoyed his music and they hype and fame around him
He was the man of the moment when I was 5-9 years old and becoming aware of pop.
Remember waiting to watch moonwalk video at my grans house one Sunday lol!
Felt his songs when I was young had a lot of meaning and resonated and catchy as anything.
I’ve ended up proving it don’t matter if your black or white on dramatic fashion

2 Graham Kendrick – Shine Jesus shine
This was my Dad’s favourite worship song and so it became my sister and Is too.
Prior to age 10 I would stand next to my Dad in worship and try and belt out the punchy songs like he would.
This was also a popular song with the evangelistic young group that came to out church when I was around 7 and I responded to the gospel message.

3 Coldplay Yellow or Travis – Driftwood
