Ecclesiastes 3:16

Moreover I saw under the sun: In the place of judgment, Wickedness was there; And in the place of righteousness, Iniquity was there.
Ecclesiastes 3:16

Unfortunately in this world evil often rules. Sadly we do live in a fallen world every the ruler of this earth is Satan. We can look forward to a day when the Kingdom of God will reign fully on yhis earth for 1000 years. We will have place and position now full authority and rule with Him.

But until then we do live in a world where injustice, evil, prejudice and persecution is rife.

We must continue to look forward to a day when Jesus will return and perfect all things – but are waiting should not be simply placid, it needs some action also to look for thr areas of injustice in the world around us to see who we can protect and who we can stand up for to push back the boundaries of wickedness.

Shining a light on the works of darkness is a tremendously powerful opportunity we have each day. To show up in thr lives of others to shine the truth of scripture and the truth of love into a seemingly hopeless situation is transformational. In in small ways we may be able to see the Kingdom come more and more as we do his will more and more in our lives and those lives that touch ours.

An important point that you learn in reading and reflecting on the book of Ecclesiastes is ‘to be careful what we say’. ‘Because every word is recorded by God.’ It is a sobering lesson and one that should cause us all to put a zip on out lip more often. And when we think about it we can see that by allowing ourselves to vent with our mouths we have taken ourselves to a negative or agitated state that we didn’t want to be and don’t want to stay at.

Also it is important for us to reguarly consider that to live life God’s way is the most important thing! Accordingly to the maker’s instructions! The word of God. We all want to get to the end of life and be glad you did! To be pleased and satisfied with the fullness of blessing on our lives to be satisfied and by following the Lords instructions we can be sure we will be satisfied.

Ecclesiastes reminds us that life is a fletting vapor. Unstable and unpredictable. Even that time will erase us. We canot control everything in our lives – but God can. We must put our lives in God’s hands. We must daily surrender our control to Him. To trust Him that He has our lives in His control. This is the way to joyfully live in peace.

And as we surrender more of our control to Him. And let Him fill us with that joy and peace we will see more of Him in our life. We will be conscience more of the blessings all around us. And we will be more like Christ to bring justice and mercy to those who need it.

I needed this reminder that when life feels out of control, God is still in control. I have to just surrender and trust Him in order to find peace with an out of control situation. Thanks for sharing!
